MBB welcomes Asitandile Nodunyelwa to the MBB family.

Born in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape, 24-year-old Asitandile is pursuing her career as a civil technician. While newly employed at MBB, Asitandile has worked alongside and interacted with MBB in the past, while she was a Civil Technician on an Outfall Sewer Upgrade Project in Makhanda for which MBB was the appointed Civil Engineers.

Asitandile indicates “that she was drawn to MBB due to MBB’s innovative approach to infrastructure development and business ethics.  Working with a team that is goal driven and passionate about their work as I experienced at MBB has been the highlight of my career. Nothing is as exhilarating as getting to surpass the target you set for the day, achieving quality work and doing it right the first time. Working in a fast-paced environment has taught me to always think ahead and improve my problem solving and people skills.”

In 2020, Asitandile completing her industrial practice, as a Layer Works Supervisor for the Contractor appointed on the Nxuba Wind Farm Project. This allowed Asitandile to complete her undergraduate National Diploma in Civil Engineering at the Walter Sisulu University.

Asitandile is currently registered with ECSA and intends complete her training and experience reports in order to apply for registration as a Professional Civil Technician. Asitandile aims to further her civil engineering career and skills in research, data analysis and problem-solving.  She aspires to achieve a career specializing in geotechnical and water engineering in the years to come.

Asitandile’s skills and ambitions resonate closely with MBB’s principles, to provide realistic, innovative and customized solutions to real challenges and we look forward to the energy and talent that she will contribute to our Projects in the Eastern Cape.
