MBB Consulting Services was appointed as the local civil and structural engineer for the construction of an 850m² indoor sports centre for Graeme College, located in Makhanda / Grahamstown. Construction of the facility commenced in April 2022 and was completed in February 2023, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on 3rd March 2023 to coincide with Graeme College’s 150-year birthday celebration.
The indoor sports centre is a multi-purpose venue which not only compromises indoor cricket courts but a state-of-the-art gym, changing rooms, ablution facilities and meeting rooms for players and coaches. This facility will contribute to the school’s aspiration to inspire its boys towards excellence.
The Graeme College Indoor Sports Centre is an asset to the community, providing a safe and modern space for indoor sports and other activities. The team at our MBB Eastern Cape Office is proud of its contribution to this facility, and the future generations of scholars and sportsmen it will nurture.
