Leadership & Office Updates

Stellenbosch & Western Cape Expansion                                                                                    

  • Jurgens Hanekom (Pr.QS & Managing Director), the founder and director of Feroqs, has been leading the company for the past 11 years. His vision and leadership have driven the firm’s growth and success. He is currently overseeing all Feroqs projects from Stellenbosch while actively leading the expansion in the Western Cape.
  • SJ Fourie (Candidate QS) is a key role player in our Western Cape operations, bringing valuable local knowledge and expertise. Over the past year, he has played a crucial role in strengthening our presence.
  • A new addition! A recently appointed Candidate QS, fresh out of university, has joined the Stellenbosch office as of January 2025.

Nelspruit Office

  • Steyn Loubser (Pr.QS & Director) has been a cornerstone of Feroqs for nine years. His expertise, leadership, and commitment make him an irreplaceable part of the team as he steps fully into his senior management role to lead operations in Nelspruit.
  • Wiehann Mohlen (Candidate QS) is approaching two years with Feroqs and has demonstrated impressive growth. His strong work ethic and dedication have made him an invaluable team member.

Potchefstroom & Regional Expansion

  • Leonore Smit (Pr.QS), after five years at the Nelspruit office, has recently relocated to Potchefstroom, North West. She now operates remotely, assisting both Nelspruit and Stellenbosch with in-house work while continuing to travel for projects. Leonore is stepping into a more senior position within the company, with an expanded focus on internal management and training.
  • Broader Reach – Our Potchefstroom operations will serve not only North-West but also Gauteng and the Free State, further strengthening our footprint in central South Africa.
