Feroqs continues to expand on two fronts: growing our professional workforce and achieving significant personal achievements inside the Feroqs family.
At the beginning of 2026, we formally welcomed two new team members who are already well on their way to becoming integral members of the Feroqs team.
First up is Carl Leathwhite, who joined us as a student QS and has since progressed to a more established role within the team. Carl is originally from Gauteng and has a BSc in Construction Studies from UCT. He is currently located in our Stellenbosch office.
Carl, our “token Englishmen” in the office, runs on coffee (and the occasional Red Bull) and is gradually converting from night owl to early riser as he adjusts into project life.
Next up is Jacobus Bruwer, who works in our Stellenbosch office. Jacobus is originally from Robertson in the Western Cape and attended both the University of Cape Town and the University of the Free State, where he established a solid academic basis in the sector. He jokes that if he could instantly master one ability, flying a plane would be at the top of the list.
We are eager to see Carl and Jacobus find their feet and continue their professional development alongside the Feroqs team.
Growing Team, Growing Families
We also celebrated some special milestones within the Feroqs families:
- Leonore welcomed a baby in July 2025
- Steyn and SJ are both expecting new additions in July 2026
Clearly, July is becoming a very popular month — purely coincidental, of course… or perhaps excellent project planning, depending on how you look at it.
On a serious note, we celebrate these exciting life chapters both professionally and personally as part of the Feroqs journey.
