MBB is responsible for the operation and maintenance of four hydro power stations: Friedenheim Hydro – 1.9MW: 1987 to date (was also designed by MBB) Lydenburg Hydro – 2.6MW: 2007 to date Badplaas Hydro – 190kW: 2014 to date Densa Hydro – 190kW: 2014 to date MBB is responsible for the complete operation and maintenance of the four plants, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs to generators, turbines, pipework & valves, overhead lines, electrical control systems, inlet works and canals. In addition, MBB is responsible for the remote monitoring and metering, as well as monthly invoicing and reporting
